Where the data comes from and how it is collected.

Public sources only

Every fight, fighter, event and statistic on FightIndex.io comes from publicly available fight records. We do not access private databases, subscription services, or restricted content.

Data Policy

Public fight records only
No private database access
No subscription or paywall circumvention
No unauthorized API usage

Data Types

We collect only factual, publicly available information:

Professional fight records
Fight outcomes, methods and dates
Round-by-round fight statistics and judge scores
Division classifications

Data Accuracy

Everything here is built on public fight results: who fought, who won, how, and when. Rankings and predictions are calculations on top of those results, not opinions layered over them. What that means in practice:

Results are added after each card and rankings are rebuilt weekly
A correction to a public result flows through on the next rebuild
Fight results are what they are; we do not edit or re-judge outcomes

Users should verify critical information independently.

Intellectual Property

We do not claim ownership of fighter names or records
All data is factual information in the public domain
Our ranking algorithms are protected intellectual property
We comply with applicable copyright laws
