Privacy Policy

If you subscribe to the pre-card email

We store:

• Your email address. Used to send the pre-card prediction email and nothing else.
• Your timezone offset. A number of minutes from UTC, taken from your browser. Used only to send at a reasonable hour in your local evening. It is not a location.
• How you arrived. If you reached the site via a tagged link, the campaign tags on that link. Used to understand which channels bring readers.

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Using it marks you unsubscribed immediately and no further email is sent.

If you pay

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's systems and are never sent to, seen by, or stored by FightIndex.io. What this site stores is the billing metadata Stripe sends back: your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, which price you are on, the currency, when the current period ends, and the email address attached to the payment. The raw event payloads Stripe sends are retained so a failed payment can be debugged and so the same event is never processed twice.

Cookies and browser storage

There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site. What is stored in your browser is:

• fi_sub — a cookie, set only when you follow an unlock link from a subscriber email. It holds the token from that link so the full prediction card stays visible on return visits. It is httpOnly (unreadable by JavaScript), scoped to this site, and expires after 180 days.
• fi_email_signed_up and fi_email_widget_dismissed_at — local storage entries, not cookies. They remember that you already subscribed or closed the signup prompt, so it stops reappearing. They never leave your browser and are not sent to any server.
• A session cookie may be set by Supabase if a signed-in area is ever used. No sign-in flow currently exists on this site, so in normal use this does not occur.

Clearing site data in your browser removes all of the above. Doing so re-gates the predictions until you use an unlock link again.

Analytics

The site uses Vercel Analytics to count page views and referrers in aggregate. It does not set cookies and does not build a profile of you across sites. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party ad network on this site.

Who else handles this data

These services process data on FightIndex.io's behalf, each for the stated purpose only:

• Vercel — hosting and aggregate analytics
• Supabase — the database where the above is stored
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — sending the pre-card email
• Inngest — scheduling when that email is prepared
• Railway — hosting the fight-data service

Your data is not sold, rented, or shared for anyone else's marketing. The fight statistics on this site come from public sources and contain no information about you.

Your choices

• Stop the emails — use the unsubscribe link in any email. It works immediately and needs no reply from anyone.
• Get a copy of your data, or have it deleted — email hello@fightindex.io from the address you signed up with. Records tied to a completed payment may need to be kept where tax or accounting rules require it; everything else can be removed.
• Remove the cookie — clear cookies for this site in your browser.

Subscriber records are kept while you are subscribed and for a reasonable period afterwards so an unsubscribe is not silently undone by a later import. Ask and it will be deleted sooner.

Age

This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and its analysis relates to a subject with a higher age threshold in most places. See the responsible gaming page. No information is knowingly collected from children.
